Deep-Dive with Stephanie in April Rose’s podcast
If the opportunity doesn't exist, then I will create it for myself.
On November 7 and 8, the historic Denair Gaslight Theater will host my show, "Gift of the Nile." It’s my interpretation of the journey from south to north on the Nile: the sequencing will loosely reflect this geographical journey, and also the chronology from past to present in the music. By pairing dancing with real-life experience and a narrative structure, I hope to create a story that connects the iconic past with this corner of the world I live in today.
👉 Hear more about my thinking behind "Gift of the Nile" (and beyond) on maestra April Rose's podcast, released today.
April Rose may not be a familiar name to people outside of the industry, but she's a highly respected teacher and international performer. It felt so good to connect with April Rose in a variety of human (not just dancer) ways that I think will resonate far beyond the dance floor.
We discuss how:
* Being a parent helps to inform our purpose
