Daira Troupe

Stephanie founded Daira Troupe in January 2024, with 7 amazing women. We are so thrilled to have had even more members join us since our inception. The name “Daira” was selected by Stephanie’s (Egyptian) husband, which means “circle” and is a perfect representation of the sense of community and togetherness that we experience as a troupe. Let’s dance!

Happy 1st Anniversary, Daira Troupe!

Dear Ami, Erin, Andrea, Kilolo, Michelle, Lisa, Diana (and Roxana not pictured),

It’s January 2025, and I want to wish my beautiful troupe a happy one-year anniversary! We have learned and accomplished so much in the last 12 months. I am so proud of you and very excited to see where we go from here.

To all of my students: thank you for allowing me to share my love for the music, dance and culture. I am inspired every time I see you in class. Here’s to more laughter, more dancing and more togetherness!

With shimmies and sparkles, Stephanie
