August 2025: My Student & Pageant Winner, Bodhi!
Sweet Bodhi and her fabulous mom Erin are both my students. Erin was one of my first students, and has become my troupe's "class mom" because she knows exactly what's going on and carefully makes sure that everyone is on track. She modified my drum solo for her daughter Bodhi, who performed it for the talent portion AND WON Junior Little Miss Denair!
I am so proud of Bodhi and can't wait for our next show!
P.S. My grown-up student Diana performed a different drum solo that I choreographed, and won her category at the Turlock Melon Carnival in 2024. I’m 2 for 2! I have high hopes for the third drum solo, haha!
